Marching Band
A student is eligible to letter only after two years of participation and must have earned at least 90% during the marching band season.
Concert Band
A student is eligible to letter by meeting the three listed criteria.
1. No performance absences.
2. Be a positive influence in the band in all aspects, including attendance, tardies, attitude, cooperation, performance dress, preparation of assigned music, and care of equipment and uniform.
3. One of the following:
a. Hold a position in the All-District or All-District Honorable Mention Band
b. Receive a I rating on a solo or small ensemble at the district music festival
c. Receive a first chair placement in the All-Conference Band
Jazz Band
To earn a jazz band letter, the following requirements must be met:
1. No performance absences, and
2. No more than 4 unexcused rehearsal absences. (for purposes of this requirement, 3 tardies shall count as one absence), or
3. Hold a position in the All-District Jazz Band.
